Creativity is a phenomenon whereby something new and valuable is formed. It’s an act of turning new and imaginative ideas into reality.
Ideas can be twofold. It can either be something intangible, such as a musical composition or a scientific theory. Or it can be a physical object, such as a novel, a painting or a product you create.
Creativity involves two processes. One is the idea generation fueled by inspiration and the other is the implementation of said idea fueled by motivation. The one without the other is not really creativity at work.
Creativity means going the whole way and bringing an idea to life.
And as Elizabeth Gilbert so rightly put it, if you’re alive you’re a creative person. She further says that we’re all makers by design. And finally, another powerful message from Gilbert:
Create whatever causes a revolution in your heart.
We can all be touched by inspiration. And it’s up to you what you do with it.
After all, life is not about finding yourself. It’s about creating yourself.
Gratitude turns what we have into enough.
Gratitude, thankfulness or appreciation is a feeling or attitude of a benefit that one has received or will receive.
Gratitude is a force of positivity, as we acknowledge and affirm that there are good things in our lives to be grateful for every day.
Therefore, gratitude is one of the most reliable methods to increase happiness.
What is done in love is done well.
Vincent van Gogh
Love makes us belong.
Love does not judge.
Love is a happiness magnet.
When we feel love and kindness towards others, it not only makes others feel loved and cared for, but it helps us also to develop inner happiness and peace.
The Dalai Lama
Scientific research on human happiness has shown that compassionate service to others is one of the key characteristics shared my many of the world’s happiest people. It’s also shown that there is an inextricable link between one’s personal happiness and kindness, compassion and caring for others.
