Happy Helpers

Sometimes we all need a pick-me-up. Something to bring us back to our happiness.
Here are 10 little helpers to get you back on track.
I’m already working on the next badge for you! 🙂
  1. Form better and healthier habits.
Habits are the strongest routine you can form and something that has the power to make you happy, especially if those habits make you healthier, more mindful and allow for well deserved you-time.
  2. Embrace the place where you are.
Sometimes it’s hard to accept that you’re exactly where you’re meant to be. Perhaps you want to be somewhere else, had different plans. But unless you’re grateful for where you are right now with all its lessons and experiences, moving forward from there will be extremely difficult.
  3. Be passionate about life.
Not sure how that works? Find something you love to do. And do that. Don’t just think about it, but actually do it. and find your happiness in doing and not just achieving.
  4. Don’t take life and yourself too seriously.
You won’t get out of it alive. Forgive easily, step out of your comfort zone once in a while and sent put your pride first.
  5. Make peace with your past to free time to be in and enjoy the present.
The past is the past. You can’t change anything about what has already happened. The only thing you can do is accept your past for what it is, as part of your story, and learn to live in the now.
  6. Try something new today that you’ve always wanted to try out.
When was the last time you tried something for the first time? Remember how that felt?
  7. Don’t compare.
We’re all different. We all have different gift. We’re all on a different journey.
Be your beautiful unique self and find happiness in that uniqueness while embracing your own story.
  8. Tense? Stressed? Put on your favorite song.
Get into some comfortable clothes and just dance it all out. This is especially useful after a stressful day, to get rid of the tension and return to your light and happy self.
  9. Plan to meet a dear friend you haven’t seen in a while.
Only the planning phase will put you in a good mood. And think about how you will feel while spending time with that person!
  10. Try a new recipe that makes your mouth water by only looking at it.
Food is one sure way to make you happy. Find a recipe that makes you hungry, put on some great cooking music and get going. Just think how happy you’ll be once it’s ready to be eaten, perhaps even with someone else you’ve invited over.
