How Dreaming Makes This Transition More Fun

I cannot seem to find a time or place to just be and enjoy where I am right now. Now that my husband and I are moving counties, this is another major transition coming our way – again. While my husband is my one constant during this time and our environment is very supportive, which we are ever so grateful for, I am also very lucky to have my beautiful coach Micala Duvoux from Her Soul Compass by my side to help me be a compassionate caretaker of everything I am, even during busy transition times. She helps me to just be, look after myself and enjoy where I am. During our last session she drew a oracle card for me. The card that practically flew out was „Dreams“, hence the inspiration to share this special blog with you.

  1. Ensure you spend adequate time resting.
Even though this will be a busy time in my life, I still need to make sure that I take out time for myself to do things that help me recharge my batteries, whatever that may look like. However, I do believe that this should be something that we prioritize on a regular basis. How are you going to function otherwise? We are at our best when we get enough rest, may that be sleep, time relaxing, alone time or doing anything that helps you fill up your cup. Also use this time to let your dreams run wild and reflect on where you want your life to go.
  2. Perhaps now is the time to focus on your hopes and dreams for the future.
What do you long for? What dreams do you hold for your life?
Be clear about your dreams for the future and know you have the power to turn them into reality.
I long for leaving this world a happier place. My dream is to build something that will help people learn about their own individual happiness in order to be able to lead a life that makes them happy on their own terms.
And my dream for me personally is to let go. Letting go of my ego and pride that tends to get in the way. Letting go of wanting to control situations or being perfect in what I do. Letting go of expectations I have for myself and instead fully embracing who I am and allowing myself to do whatever it is that brings me joy and makes me feel alive.
    What about you?
  3. I have the power to create the life I dream for myself.
Believe in yourself! Believe that you have the power to make your dreams come true. We all do. Though it will be hard work. Nothing worth having ever came easy. Along the way you might realize that this does not bring you joy. Take this as a valuable learning and adjust accordingly. The process should make you happy. Achieving your dream will not make you happy in the long run. So make sure you spend your time doing something you love on the way to your dreams!

I love the idea of using my transition time to dream and reflect on where I want to go, both professionally and personally as a human being.
I hope you find the time to do this for yourself as well.
I believe in you and the power of your dreams!
